THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD OF THE HOLY BIBLE told us that there would be perilous times in the last days. Thankfully, He gave us great detailed instruction regarding what we should do.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Take note of all the descriptive terms listed of all of those who are turned against God, marking these perilous times. You can see that we are there. What do we do? Firstly, obey God’s command to TURN AWAY from anyone fitting those descriptions. It’s not a suggestion. It’s a command.

Next, you need to understand the message of TRUE SALVATION to be absolutely certain you are in the faith of Jesus Christ.

According to the BIBLE, not catechisms or ordinances of men, can you be good enough to make it to Heaven? Are you innocent or guilty looking into the mirror of God’s law? If you’ve broken the 9th and 3rd commandments, you’re a liar and blasphemer in God’s sight. He considers lust adultery (Matt 5:28), hate murder (1John 3:15) and all liars are sentenced to Hell and the lake of fire (Rev 21:8).

NOW THE GOOD NEWS! 1Timothy 1:15 says, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”. You can repent from your sins and trust Him to save you (Luke 13:3,5, Isa 55:7, John 3:16, Rom 5:8, Rom 10:13, Heb 5:9).

NOTE: “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

AND…
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend
in one point, he is guilty of all.

AND…
1Timothy 2:3-5 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

This is why we CANNOT be saved by confession to a priest, doing penance, or performing some good works to outweigh or erase the guilt of our sinful works. Our sins can ONLY be forgiven through the SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. 
Colossians 1:14 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Acts 4:12 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

REPENT TODAY! You are not guaranteed tomorrow.

Mark 8:35 – For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 

FORSAKE your sins, and God will give you HIS GREAT MERCY.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. 

BY JESUS’ SACRIFICE YOU CAN BE FREE FROM SIN – DEAD TO SIN AND LIVING IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

1Peter 2:24 – Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 

Romans 6:6-7 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. 

IF YOU REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL, ETERNAL LIFE CAN BE YOURS IN JESUS CHRIST!

Mark 1:14-15 Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. John 17:3 – And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

REMEMBER:

Psalm 7:10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.

Psalm 62:2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (COMMAND – NOT SUGGESTION)

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but HE THAT ENDURETH TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED.
